Claims that are processed on November 1, 2019, or later, For T2025-Specialized Consultation Services will no longer be processed as Clinician Based.  Claims should be submitted using the Agency NPI as the Rendering NPI number.  According to the service definition:

Specialized Consultation Services provide expertise, training and technical assistance in a specialty area (psychology, behavior intervention, speech therapy, therapeutic recreation, augmentative communication, assistive technology equipment, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nutrition, and other licensed professionals who possess experience with individuals with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities) to assist family members, support staff and other natural supports in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Partners has made this change in order for our members to gain access to the professionals available to provide this support.  Clinicians providing this service under the Agency NPI are still required to be credentialed prior to the delivery of services.

Providers with questions may contact Partners’ Claims Department by emailing claimsdepartment@partnersbhm.org or by calling 704-842-6486.
