Beginning Monday, April 15, 2024, providers who sign in to ProviderCONNECT will be able to view or download authorization decision letters in ProAuth. This update provides a seamless process that will allow providers to view approval, unable to process and adverse decision letters inside the ProAuth platform.

ProAuth is accessed under Quick Links in Partners’ secure provider portal, ProviderCONNECT.

What is happening?

Effective Monday, April 15, 2024, providers will be able to view or download Utilization Management authorization request decision letters directly in ProAuth. This will apply to authorization requests previously submitted through ProAuth, as well as those submitted after April 15.

When does this take effect?

Monday, April 15, 2024.

What does this mean for providers?

  • Providers will no longer need to go into a different system to get decision letters.
  • Centralizing decision letters in ProAuth keeps the letters within the member’s record and makes it seamless for the provider to view, download or otherwise reference the documents.

How can providers access the letters in ProAuth?

Providers should log in to ProviderCONNECT and access ProAuth from Quick Links.

Once in ProAuth, search for the member and then select Dashboard to view the authorization details:

  • Highlight the Authorization line and the VIEW CORRESPONDENCE button becomes available.
  • The Correspondence Summary shows all correspondence associated with the selected authorization and the letter names are listed.

To view and print Authorization Letters:

  • Click the collapsible arrow to open the letter line and view the Letter History.
  • Select the line showing Status SUCCESS.
  • In the new window where the authorization letter appears, download or print the document.
