Previously, all Medicaid members who received an enhanced service (such as mobile crisis) were required by the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services to have their enhanced services registered with CDW. The only way the service could be registered was through a state funding enrollment in AlphaMCS.

Effective July 1, 2021, Standard Plan Medicaid members will no longer require a state enrollment to be submitted to Partners in AlphaMCS for registry with CDW. LME/MCOs are no longer managing Standard Plan Medicaid members and this process will not be completed by the LME/MCOs.

NC Medicaid Direct members whose Medicaid will be managed by Partners will still require a state funding enrollment in AlphaMCS to be registered with CDW.
