What is happening?

Partners secure provider portal, ProviderCONNECT, is live and ready for Local Administrators to login and set up users. ProviderCONNECT was live on Dec. 15, 2022 and is the one-stop shop and primary resource for operational information for providers.

It is important that Local Administrators for each provider organization set up their users in anticipation of submitting authorization requests beginning Jan. 9, 2023. (At that time, providers will begin to use TruCare’s ProAuth platform to submit prior authorizations rather than the Alpha+ system. Click here to access Partners’ communication on using ProAuth.)

What must Providers do?

The actions you need to take will depend on whether you are designated a Local Administrator or a General User for your organization.

  • Local Administrators are responsible for initially logging in to ProviderCONNECT and setting up all other users for their organization. If you have questions about identifying a Local Administrator, please email Partners at CredentialingTeam@PartnersBHM.org.
  • General Users are others within the organization that will need to access ProviderCONNECT to submit authorization requests, access resources and trainings, find information on their specific members and access a wealth of other information.

  • If you are a General User, you must:
  • Work with your Local Administrator to ensure you are set up to access ProviderCONNECT.
  • Once you are set up in ProviderCONNECT, you will need to sign on to the portal and explore the features.
  • If you are unsure who the Local Administrator is for your organization, you may check the list at https://providers.partnersbhm.org/identifying-a-local-administrator

If you are a General User and have a log-in question, you should first contact your Local Administrator.
