Providers of enhanced services may use contact hours earned in educational events other than NBCC CE trainings to meet requirements for Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) or other evidenced-based continuing education. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) clarified the requirements after Partners received questions about acceptable ways to meet CBT and other continuing education requirements.

Partner’s Training Academy offers a monthly CBT Learning Community in partnership with Eric Ottinger of Recovery Rebel Revolution, LLC, which assists with meeting the continuing education requirements for providers of enhanced services. The CBT Learning Community offers an opportunity to explore evidence-based skills, review concepts and case studies to expand techniques, discuss self-care, reduce burnout, promote professional growth, create connection to a community of professionals, explore evidence-based practices, improve the quality of care delivered to our members, and learn and practice skills that are reimbursable.
