Issued: June 10, 2022

What is happening?

Partners will no longer require initial credentialing or re-credentialing applications from providers, including agencies, LIPs and associated clinicians. Partners now accepts the provider enrollment information from NCTracks to enroll and contract with providers. This change was effective May 16, 2022, and was made in accordance with NC Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Benefits contract Amendment #31 regarding provider credentialing.

If you have submitted an application but have not yet received notification of approval, your enrollment will be finalized and a contract will be issued without delay.

How should providers make changes to existing contracts?

In order to make changes to your existing contract with Partners, i.e., adding sites, services and clinicians or removing sites, services or clinicians, please continue to submit the Provider Change Form to request the change.

In addition, Partners no longer requires clinicians to complete applications through CAQH ProView, effective with this change. Partners will verify clinician information through NCTracks and associate those clinicians with your contract based on the information submitted to us using the Provider Change Form.

If you would like to join the Partners’ network, please submit the Request for Consideration Form. Please note that your enrollment with NCTracks is required. Provider agency, NPI, taxonomy, sites and clinicians must be enrolled in NCTracks to continue to contract with Partners or to make changes to your contract with Partners.

Whom should you contact with questions?

If you have questions about the status of your enrollment with us, please contact us by email at credentialingteam@partnersbhm.org or by phone at 704-842-6483.
