DMHDDSAS Seeking Applications for Opioid Action Plan Implementation Initiative Funds

The Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services (DMHDDSAS) has announced a Request for Applications for Opioid Action Plan Implementation Initiative funds.

The purpose of grants awarded under this program is to implement strategies to prevent opioid overdoses, increase access to opioid use disorder treatment, and build local capacity to respond to the opioid epidemic in NC by funding specific activities highlighted in the NC Opioid Action Plan. The NC Opioid Action Plan was launched in June of 2017 with input from stakeholders around the state.

Community Support Team Listening Sessions Scheduled

The Division of Medical Assistance (DMA), in collaboration with the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (DMHDDSAS), is seeking stakeholder input on the Community Support Team Policy. Your feedback is essential in helping us know what is working well and what recommendations should be considered moving forward.

Participants will need to register for one of the following listening sessions (webinars) to gain access.

  • April 20, 2018 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • April 26, 2018 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
