2016 Partners Needs Assessment and Gaps Analysis Survey
Every year, Partners conducts a Needs Assessment and Services Gaps Analysis to understand the behavioral health needs of the citizens in the regions we serve. To assist with this process, we want input from every person and from every perspective touched in some way by mental illness, substance use disorders, or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The survey should only take a few minutes to complete. Want to participate? (survey closed)
Partners will use a number of tools–focus groups, consultation with community and provider stakeholders, extensive data analytics, and web-enabled surveys–to develop an effective plan for a more targeted deployment of precious healthcare resources. We appreciate your help in this process.
Attention PRTF Providers – Statewide Training Announcement.
The NC Division of Medical Assistance is offering a training for Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTFs) Receiving Medicaid Funding and Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans (PIHPs) on Conditions of Participation in Medicaid for PRTFs on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
The training will be held at
CenterPoint Human Services, 4025 University Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27106 from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
This training is for PRTFs receiving Medicaid funding for the provision of Psychiatric Residential Treatment Services for individuals under 21, and for the PIHPs who administer Medicaid for the Division of Medical Assistance.
It is strongly recommended that each PRTF Organization send three key staff to this training, including the CEO or signatory for each PRTF, the Clinical Director and the staff in charge of Quality Assurance or compliance with Incident Reporting.
In preparation for each PRTF’s submission of the federally mandated Letter of Attestation of compliance with 42 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 483 Subpart G, by July 21, 2016, the representatives from the Division of Medical Assistance, the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and the Division of Health Services Regulation are providing this training on the provisions in 42 CFR 483 Subpart G and the policy, practice and reporting activities required to reach and maintain compliance. It is hoped that this training will facilitate each PRTFs own review of its policies and practices and promote positive outcomes from monitoring and audit reviews by the DHSR and the PIHPs.
Please RSVP by email to Catherine Goldsmith, catharine.goldsmith@dhhs.nc.gov,
