Joint Communication Bulletin #J180 AMENDED 1915 (b)(3) Services

On March 1, 2016, the North Carolina Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (DMH) and the Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) issued a revised Joint Communication Bulletin #J180 (Amended Version), still dated as of January 26, 2016.  It replaces the one mentioned in Partners’ Provider Alert issued on February 18, 2016, and Provider Communication Bulletin #53.

The amended version addresses questions pertaining to 1915 (b)(c) services.

Joint Communication Bulletin #J153 (UPDATE) National Accreditation

On March 1, 2016, DMH and DMA issued an update to Joint Communication Bulletin #J153, originally issued on August 20, 2015.

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide an update to Communication Bulletin #J153 on national accreditation as it applies to Innovations waiver services. This update allows for providers to obtain accreditation on additional models at their next review by the accrediting body.

On February 25, 2016, DMH and DMA issued Joint Communication Bulletin #J184 – Differences between TMACT and Routine Monitoring.
