What is happening? AlphaMCS is being upgraded to Alpha+.
When is this happening? June 6, 2022
How is this change impacting providers?
- Starting on June 6, 2022, providers must file claims through Alpha+.
- Please note that AlphaMCS will not be available after June 3, 2022, at 5 p.m. and Alpha+ will not be available until June 6, 2022, at 8 a.m.
What do providers need to do?
- Providers will need to go to a new website address to log into the Alpha+ to submit claims.
- The new website address for Alpha+ is https://login.alphaphm.org/portallogin .
- Providers will be able to use their current username and password to access Alpha+ to submit claims.
If you are a provider who uses an 837 file to submit claims:
- If a Provider currently submits claims through an 837 file, the Provider must complete a NEW SFTP Access Request Form and have new SFTP credentials set up in order to access Alpha+ to file claims.
- If you have not submitted a new SFTP Access Request Form, contact Partners Service Desk immediately at 704-842-6431 or ServiceDesk@partnersbhm.org.
If you are a provider who uses a clearinghouse to submit claims:
- If a Provider currently submits claims through a clearinghouse, the clearinghouse vendor must complete a NEW SFTP Access Request Form and have new SFTP credentials set up in order to file claims through Alpha+.
- Please check with your clearinghouse to confirm they have completed SFTP Access process.

What if I need to submit a claim manually?
- Providers who want to submit a claim manually will need to go to the new website address to log into the Alpha+.
- The new website address for Alpha+ is https://login.alphaphm.org/portallogin.
- Providers will be able to use their current username and password to access Alpha+ to submit claims.
- Contact claimsdepartment@partnersbhm.org if you need assistance manually entering a claim.
Are EVV Claims Impacted?
- EVV claims that go to HHA are not impacted.
