Effective July 1, 2022, Partners will resume requiring providers to submit Failure to Provide Backup Staffing reports via the Alpha portal.

Failure to Provide Backup Staffing reports should be submitted at least bi-weekly.

If providers have had no backup staffing incidents for a bi-weekly period, that information should be submitted to Partners. Partners is working on a process for this and will update you prior to July 1, 2022.

Partners Provider Network National Accreditation Requirements

Effective July 1, 2022, providers who want to join the Partners network for services requiring national accreditation must meet the accreditation requirements within the time frame set in the services clinical coverage policy.

Partners will use the provider’s enrollment date in NC Tracks Medicaid system as the starting point for verification. (For example, a provider is enrolled in NC Tracks effective June 1, 2021, and provides a service that requires accreditation within one year. Partners will verify that the provider is accredited effective no later that June 1, 2022, to meet the clinical coverage policy standard for accreditation. If the provider is not nationally accredited, then the provider is not eligible to provide the service.)
