To improve the user experience, Partners announces enhancements to the Alpha+.

What is happening?

Alpha+ will be down for upgrades from 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, until noon on Sunday, Oct. 30.

When you log in to Alpha+ on Oct. 30, you will notice a new look and feel to Alpha+ and enhancements in the navigation. The functionality remains the same, but now includes the ability to:

  • View Eligibility History for members
  • View Claim Header ID on the Override Adjudication screen
  • Upload/view documents for Grievances
  • Print Grievances to PDF files
  • Review the 820 Payment Screen by member
  • View the Tailored Care Management Panel Limits screen
    • Does not include the ability to decrease the capacity based on number of members assigned
  • View the PEF Change Report
  • Record PCP/TCM Changes

When is this happening?

The changes are effective Oct. 30, 2022.

How is the change impacting providers?

Alpha+ enhancements will make it easier to find items in Alpha+ and will increase efficiencies in your daily work.

What do providers need to do?

When logging in to for the first time after Alpha+ is upgraded, you must clear your cache. Please follow the instructions below to clear your cache.

Instructions to Clear Cache:

TO DELETE YOUR BROWSING HISTORY FROM INTERNET EXPLORER BROWSER, FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:

  1. Log out of Alpha and any other applications you have open.
  2. Go to Gear Icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the browser.
  3. Select Internet Optionsfrom the picklist.
  4. Click on the Deletebutton ¾ of the way down the window.
  5. Uncheck the box labeled Preserve Favorites website data.
  6. Place a check mark in the boxes labeled Temporary Internet files and website filesCookies and website dataHistory, and Download History.
  7. Click Deleteat the bottom of the screen.
  8. Click Applyand OK.
  9. Close your Internet Explorer browser and re-open.

TO CLEAR YOUR HISTORY FROM MOZILLA FIREFOX BROWSER, FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:

  1. Log out of Alpha and any other applications you have open.
  2. Click the three bars on far right of address bar.
  3. Select Libraryfrom the picklist.
  4. Select Historyfrom the picklist.
  5. Select Clear recent historyfrom the picklist.
  6. Time range to clear:  Everything.
  7. Click down arrow beside Details.
  8. Place a check mark in the boxes by Browsing & Download HistoryForm & Search HistoryCookies and Cache.
  9. Click on Clear Now.
  10. Close your Mozilla Firefox browser and re-open.
